Asian Pastor At the Feet of White Leaders. Still?

I began thinking about making this videoblog after hearing a question posed to Kristin Kobes Du Mez, author of “Jesus and John Wayne,” by an Asian American pastor while he was interviewing her in his podcast. He asked, “We [minorities] look to white evangelical leadership to shape our theology the most. Why do you think that is?” The first thought that came to my mind was, “Who is making you do that?” This videoblog is about white evangelical leaders whose books and lectures we grew up reading and listening, and whether we, as nonwhites, should continue to depend on them for spiritual and theological leadership. I am going to deal with three white spiritual leaders in particular: RC Sproul, John MacArthur and De Mez. Thanks.
